It's June 1st........really?
Man, hard to believe it is June 1st already. I have been so busy with school, full time job and the band, these past five months are literally a blur. However, despite time flying (as it does for everyone), I have to say I always consider the start of June the official start of our summer "tour".......I can't even count how many flatbed trailers I'll step on, how many porta-potties I will change in, or how many shirts will get washed over and over from the sweat!
We start this weekend off tonight by opening up for the LoCash Cowboys at the Peoria Riverfront Concert Series. I get an hour to go out there, sing my ass off, hopefully entertain the crowd, and share some love. I know moments like this are very cool and special so I take in every second of being on that stage, taking nothing for granted. Sure to be one of the quickest hours of my life - usually how it is on stage. Tomorrow night is the Annual Bunny's Parking Lot party. Talk about something that has grown beyond my wildest expectations. I remember playing there the first time 5 years ago, great crowd then to my surprise and then it just kept getting bigger. I can only hope I keep making it worth people coming out and spending their free time with me and the guys. Regardless of when your summer starts - be safe, have fun, laugh, and spend time with the ones that matter the most. Peace and Love! Ryan
